Problem

 The interface was inconsistent, workflows were complex, and the overall experience felt heavy for users managing invoices and business tasks.

Approach

I simplified the product by clearing most of the existing UI and rebuilding the structure from scratch while keeping the original brand color as an anchor. My focus was on preventing users from seeing irrelevant actions, which reduces confusion during task completion, improving workflows, and creating a lighter, more intuitive experience.

Solution

Delivered a full-designed interface with simplified navigation, clearer workflows, and a consistent visual system. The result is a cleaner and more efficient product that makes invoice management faster and easier for business users.

Yline – A personal shopping platform connecting users with personal shoppers, featuring live chat, item tracking, and a digital wardrobe to manage purchased items.

Users struggle to manage personal shopping through social media, leading to scattered communication, difficulty tracking purchases, and a lack of organized wardrobe management. Connecting with personal shoppers and keeping track of bought items is inefficient and time-consuming.

Approach

Designed a platform where users can easily connect with personal shoppers, browse and add items, and communicate via live chat. Focused on building a digital wardrobe feature so users can track all their purchases in one place, and streamlined the buying process for clarity and convenience.

Solution

Yline allows users to:
Discover and interact with personal shoppers directly on the platform via live messaging.
Add items to their own digital wardrobe, keeping a complete record of purchases.

Problem: Businesses struggled with managing multiple user roles without confusion or permission overlap.

Why this structure: Role-based swim lanes isolate responsibilities, preventing permission overlap and making access clear at a glance.

Why this flow: Auth first → role split → goal-driven paths. Users land directly in their context; the Employer's invoice path (Customize → Create → Preview → Send) follows how employers actually create invoices in real workflows, reducing friction during task execution

Why this approach: With 4 distinct roles, branching after auth ensures users see only relevant features, reducing cognitive load while keeping the core value—fast, professional invoicing—front and center for Employers.

TECHNICAL OVERVIEW

Problem: Users dropped off during onboarding due to fragmented authentication and unclear progression.

YLINE

Why this structure: Swim lanes mirror the first-time user's journey. Each zone (Onboarding → Auth → Connect → Core App) is self-contained, so teams can focus on their section without losing context.

Why this flow: Users complete trust-building steps (email verification, Instagram auth) before shopping, preventing broken states. Dead-ends always have escape options (Skip, Retry, Resend).

Why this approach: YLINE's core value is Instagram → Shop. The flow highlights this upfront, ensuring users connect. Key decision points (Auth, OAuth, Payment) flag the highest drop-off risks for engineering and QA.
